Quest 4: The Mausoleum

Heroes of the Grave is a five-quest expansion for HeroQuest. It is intended to be played by a standard group of heroes who have completed the core HeroQuest game. It features assets from the core game.

Heroes, you are challenged with a fearsome task! Grimlock the Dreadful, Orc general of Zargon's eastern forces is entombed in a mausoleum guarded by vile beasts. What is more, the keep in which the mausoleum is housed is none other than Xantilith, refuge of undead sorcerer Kellemeg. Grimlock and Kellemeg partnered in spreading destruction and torment on the peoples of the east and north in ages past. Humans and Dwarves suffered much at their hands. Upon Grimlock's death, Kellemeg vowed to resurrect him and transform him into a powerful weapon against the free peoples. 

You must enter the keep and find the mausoleum of Grimlock. Though grave robbing is not your forte, you must defeat Kellemeg and ensure the remains of Grimlock are either taken with you or destroyed utterly so that Kellemeg may not fulfill his diabolical scheme. When you have completed your task, return to the spiral staircase.
